These special day retreats are just for you - our beloved NHS staff - to come and enjoy a beautiful day in the countryside with lovely people, delicious food, and practical skills for a happier life.
The day will include peaceful heart meditation, gentle flowing yoga practices, delicious catered lunch, deep relaxation and more.
Heart-centred yoga practices offer a very simple and profound way of helping our systems not only recover from stress but to become more able to handle challenging situations in a peaceful way.
Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment! The event is free. Donations are welcome to support our charity work, but not expected. We want to give back to the NHS which helps us all to be happy and healthy.

Meet your hosts
Anya is a Heart of Living Yoga Teacher and Trainer based in Bournemouth. She specialises in working with children and teens with behavioural, social and mental health issues, mostly in special schools, as well as sharing Yoga as a therapeutic intervention with children and adults with a range of Special Needs. Her courses in anxiety and stress relief are always very popular!
Anya has been practising yoga for over 25 years and teaching for a decade. She has a delightful sense of humour and enjoys sharing time with people, as well as tending her beautiful garden.
Jagadamba is a Heart Of Living Yoga Teacher & Trainer based in Bournemouth. She began teaching yoga in 2012, including working with children and staff in Bournemouth schools.
Jagadamba is also a beautiful musician & singer, a qualified counsellor and therapist in the fields of craniosacral and etiotherapty. She regularly works with the NHS to offer specialised courses in anxiety, stress management and personal effectiveness.
One of Jagadamba’s gifts is to create a safe space full of compassion to accompany her clients in finding their own core essence and strength, helping them achieve healthier perspectives in all areas of their lives.
Padma Devi is the founder and president of the Heart Of Living Yoga Foundation. She won’t be joining us in person — as she now lives in Portugal — but her presence will be felt in the beautiful heart-centred teachings of yoga shared here.
If you have just five minutes sometime, you might like to listen to this little heart meditation with Padma and notice what effect it has on you. If you like it, you can download it here for free or purchase a whole album of heart meditation. All donations support our charity work with some of the poorest families in Sri Lanka, Brasil, India, the UK & USA.
